We moved into our newly built house in March 2019. We bought the house from McKnight’s and immediately we realised we had not just bought a house - we had bought a home. Built by a family for a family. Everything had been considered so the house flowed, and rooms, doors and windows were ideally placed. Room for everything and everyone. The quality of the build was exemplary, and the proof is seen over time - there have been no issues and we LOVE living here! McKnights were excellent to deal with, prompt, thoughtful and trustworthy. We have our forever home but if we were to ever move again, we would certainly go straight to McKnights.

We bought our McKnight house in Aglionby in 2018. Moving home can be a stressful business, and for us this was no exception. However, were it not for the friendliness and professional workforce, this would have added to that stress. We love our house, and any teething problems (and realistically, there are in any new build) that occurred was dealt with immediately by the skilled workforce that were available to sort out any problems. The workmanship, attention to detail and support from all the experienced workforce was carried out with courteous professionalism. We were never left alone, and they never left us without receiving our assurance that we were happy with their work. A joy.

I am so glad I chose to buy my first new build home from McKnights and Son. I was very impressed with the original design and site layout and from initial discussions regarding what fixtures and finishes I would like I was very impressed with the helpful suggestions and professional advice that McKnights team gave me. I also negotiated to have some extra work such as garden shed built. As I lived over 300 miles away I was grateful to receive regular progress updates. Shortly after moving in a snag list was compiled and the different trades promptly e fixed the ‘niggles’ which are of course inevitable. The owner of the company took a close interest often personally responding to queries and his team took pride in the resulting homes. I hope this development in Durdar will provide quality beautiful homes too!
